One of my favorite parts of each day is our family walks! Every night after dinner, we get Cali in her harness, Kendall in her stroller, and we head out for a walk around the neighborhood. I love the time we get to spend together without distractions, no phones, no computer or TV screen, just intentional conversation. I love being outside and breathing in the fresh air. I love the blooming flowers, ever-changing trees, and looking up at the blue sky! God created so many beautiful things, and it’s such a gift being able to enjoy His creation! I’m so thankful for my sweet family and for this time we spend together!
My hubby and I were so honored to stand beside our best friends on their wedding day! Les and Dilip have been best friends since they were kids, and Stephanie and I have become great friends over the past couple years. Steph truly is the kindest, most caring person you will ever meet and I’m so thankful for her friendship! We LOVE Dilip and Steph and are so happy they are now married!
I was so excited when Steph asked me to do her wedding hair and makeup! She is such a natural beauty so it made my job of getting her ready so easy! We decided on a natural, neutral makeup look with a bold lip, and for hair a beautiful curly updo. I also loved that Steph wanted to wear the same flower in her hair that I wore on my wedding day! I think flowers add such a lovely touch to a brides wedding hair. Well instead of trying to explain how amazing this wedding was, I’ll just show you! Check out this stunning bride and her beautiful wedding! Also, if you love these photos check out my adorable friend Renee‘s work! She’s amazing
Tracy is one of my dearest childhood friends and I absolutely adore her! Anyone who knows Tracy knows she is the most genuine, kind, and compassionate person in the world. She truly is one of the most beautiful people I know both inside and out. I was so honored to have the opportunity to do Tracy and her mom Judy’s hair and makeup for the big day! It was such a beautiful wedding and the love Tracy and Dan have for each other and for the Lord is so inspiring.

From the moment Kimmie and I met at her trial I knew we were going to get along well! Kimmie was so sweet and it was awesome to hear her talk about how excited she was to marry the man of her dreams! I was so honored to be the hair stylist for her wedding. Her and her sisters were so much fun and I couldn’t have enjoyed my time with them more! Congratulations Mrs Shehan! So happy for you!

The other day one of my brides asked me about lip stains as an alternative to lipstick. I’m a lipstick kind of girl and was always a bit hesitant when it came to lip stains, but the idea of not having to reapply every time I took a sip of water did sound appealing. I decided it was time to venture out and try out some lip stains. I did some online research and read a lot of great things about Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain, so I decided I had to try it for myself.
I purchased the shade Smitten, which is a bright berry color with a pinkish undertone. It’s a bright, bold color, that’s perfect for a night on the town! The balm stain was very easy to apply, felt good on my lips, and lasted a good 4-5 hours, even with eating and drinking. I was really impressed with this product!
Although my personal preference would be MAC’s Pro Longwear Lip Colors, the Revlon Just Bitten line is a great alternative, especially for a bride worried about lipstick getting in the way of that perfect wedding day kiss!
I first met Ann Marie a few weeks before her big day when she came over for her hair & makeup trial. She is seriously the sweetest girl, and I felt like I had known her for years! Ann Marie married one of my good friends Jeremy, who I’ve known ever since I was a kid. I always knew Jeremy was going to find an amazing girl, but his stunning bride

My beautiful friend Jena got married back in 2011, and I felt so honored to do makeup for her and her bridal party! My lovely best friend from Cosmetology School, Brittany Yturralde assisted, and we had such a great time getting all the girls ready! Brittany and I both used Urban Decay’s NAKED palette, since Jena wanted all of the bridesmaids to have a similar makeup look! Congrats Jena, you’re stunning!
Yesterday marks the one year anniversary for my brother and his beautiful bride! It was such a blessing to be a part of their wedding day! I felt so honored to stand beside them and witness the beautiful vows and promises they made to each other.
I was so excited when Alex asked me to do her hair and makeup for her big day! Alex wanted a natural makeup look, and knew she wanted to use clip in extensions to add fullness to her hair! On her eyes I used some neutral MAC eyeshadows: orb & yogurt on the lid, cork & shadowy lady on the crease , and vanilla as a highlighter under her brow. We used Euronext Hair Extensions, and created a full, classic updo to give the perfect wedding day look!
I’m truly thankful to have gained such an amazing sis!
